Publishing Your Podcast on Spotify

Follow these simple steps to publish your podcast on Spotify using your Wonderpod RSS feed.

Step 1: Go to Spotify for Podcasters

Visit Spotify for Podcasters to begin the process.

Step 2: Select "Find an Existing Show"

Once on the platform:

  • Click the option to Find an existing show. This allows you to use your RSS feed to claim your podcast.

Step 3: Choose "Somewhere Else"

When prompted to select where your podcast is hosted, choose Somewhere else to indicate that your podcast is hosted outside of Spotify.

  • Copy your Wonderpod RSS feed link from your Wonderpod dashboard.
  • Paste the link into the field provided on Spotify for Podcasters.

Step 5: Verify Ownership

Spotify will automatically detect the owner’s email address from the RSS feed metadata. To verify ownership:

  1. Spotify will send a confirmation code to the detected email address.
  2. Retrieve the code from your email and enter it on Spotify.

Step 6: Your Podcast is Live

Once ownership is verified, your podcast will be available in Spotify’s catalog. You can manage it directly in Spotify for Podcasters.
