Publishing Your Podcast on Apple Podcasts

Follow these steps to publish your podcast on Apple Podcasts using your Wonderpod RSS feed.

Step 1: Log in to Apple Podcasts Connect

Visit Apple Podcasts Connect and log in with your Apple ID. Once logged in, click the + icon and select New Show.

Step 2: Choose the RSS Feed Option

Select Add a show with an RSS feed to link your existing podcast feed. This ensures Apple pulls episodes directly from your Wonderpod-hosted feed.

Step 3: Wait for Feed Processing

Paste your Wonderpod RSS feed URL into the provided field and wait while Apple processes the feed. This may take a few minutes.

Step 4: Fill in Content Rights Information

Once your feed is processed:

  • Confirm you own the content or have rights to distribute it.
  • Provide optional contact information (name, email, phone).

Step 5: Resolve Artwork Issues (If Any)

Apple requires podcast artwork to meet specific criteria:

  • Dimensions: 3000 x 3000 pixels.
  • Format: JPG or PNG in RGB color space.
  • Hosted on a server supporting HTTP head requests.

If your artwork doesn’t meet these requirements, you’ll see an error:

To fix this:

  1. Re-upload a valid artwork file in Wonderpod.
  2. Refresh the feed in Apple Podcasts Connect.

Step 6: Publish Your Podcast

Once all required fields are complete and errors are resolved, click the Publish button. Your podcast will be submitted to Apple Podcasts and appear in their directory after approval.
